What is real food

Real food is uncomplicated, simple, and as close to its natural state as possible. 

 

 

 Adhering to a Real Food lifestyle with limited time and money is challenging, but definitely possible. 

I believe that the food we eat has a huge impact on the way we feel. Food is fuel: we wouldn’t fill our cars up with cheap gas to save time or money- so why are we doing it to our bodies? 

For me, Real Food includes:

Fruits

Vegetables

Legumes

Nuts/Seeds

Full Fat Dairy

Humanely Raised Meat

Whole Grains

I try my hardest to avoid:

Refined Sugar

Refined Wheat

Highly Processed Vegetable Oils

Conventional Meat/Dairy
